In 2016, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice was released in theaters. Fans all around the world flocked to their nearest theater to view the film. Everyone’s expectations had been very high since this was the film adaptation of “The Dark Knight Returns” by Frank Miller. In the third act, Superman dies in the act of killing Doomsday and is buried in a black and silver casket. This ending was confusing because fans knew that the Justice League movie was going into production. So, they went to the internet to deliver their theories as to what will happen to the Kryptonian in the following films. Eric Eisenberg, reporter at Cinema Blend.com says, “The multi-verse theory has been an important part of DC Comics for decades, from the beloved crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths to the recent Convergence series.” This could be utilized to bring Superman back from the dead in Justice League. Eric states that the inclusion of the multi-verse could be one way to bring the “man of steel” back to life. This theory is plausible and could introduce an incredibly complex storyline into the DC cinematic universe.
At first glance this image doesn’t look like much, but if you look a bit closer, you will see something very interesting. Henry Cavill posted this image on his personal Instagram account with the caption, “suit superman.” The picture would appear to be Superman’s new suit that could be presented in the upcoming movies. This means that Superman may make an epic return in Justice League clad in his Kryptonian life suit.

Booster Gold will be adapted into a live-action film. Nathan Fillion is rumored to be the current favorite for the part. However, DC will not be responsible for this movie. Greg Berlanti, creator of The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl, will be working with Geoff Johns, Chief Creative Officer at DC to create the Booster Gold film. It won’t be released for a few years, but the DC films’ characters should be established by then. As for the continuity between the films and the Booster-Gold television show, nothing is solid. I just hope we get an advanced looking costume. Hopefully, Smallville’s Booster Gold concept will remain in its cheesy past where it belongs.
