Why Do Women Never Think They’re Thin Enough?

Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and not liked your body because you thought you were not thin enough? Well, let me tell you no matter how big you think you are, just know you are beautiful inside and out.

It is easy to believe you’re fat if you continuously say you are and hear others say it. Our senses play a big part in how you view your body. For example, girls shy away from wearing dresses or tight fitted clothes because their body don’t fit what society wants. This makes women feel fat no matter how skinny they are or not.

We tend to destroy our body because we try to fit in with societies ideals of beauty. Women risk going into dangerous surgeries, suffer from anorexia, bulimia, suicidal thoughts, and self harm. People call women fat and make them feel they have to fit into their expectations.

Clothing companies are not making accommodating clothing for the majority of women. For example, Abercrombie & Fitch decided not to make a bigger size because they don’t want “fat” chicks wearing their clothes.¬†Lululemon made a similar announcement. One of the biggest things that people watch on the daily are commercials were the majority of the women used in these commercials are skinny and photo shopped. That also makes women try to fit in more with society because they want to reach those expectations society haves on them.
