Makeup cosmetics were first worn and created  by Ancient Egyptians  out of copper and lead ore. The Egyptian women painted their eyes by putting black paint  under their eyelid and painting their eyelashes, kind of how us women today use mascara and eyeliner.

Many women and young girls today wear makeup . Makeup is one big part of today’s society. Although many people wear it, some people are lost on what product goes where on your face when doing a full face .  Here are the makeup products you need to use and where to place then on your face. ( Useful for :Date night, Prom, Party, Graduation, or Everyday.)

Primer-Makeup primer is a base for foundation or face makeup that allows it to go on smoother and last longer. Before even starting your makeup primer is the first thing you need to apply. It keeps your pours from showing through your makeup

Foundation-Foundation is a skin colored makeup applied to the face to create an even, uniform color to the complexion, to cover flaws and, sometimes, to change the natural skin-tone. After applying primer you then apply your foundation(liquid,cream,or powder) make sure to blend it in with a foundation brush or beauty blender.

Concealer-Concealer is a type of makeup that is used to hide dark circles, age spots, large pores, and small blemishes visible on the skin. It is similar to foundation, but thicker and used to hide different pigments by blending the imperfection into the surrounding skin tone. You put concealer on after your foundation has dried. Most people put concealer under the eyes and on the chin to attract light.

Contour-Contouring is a makeup technique that uses cosmetics to define, enhance and sculpt the structure of the face or other body parts, such as breasts.You can contour before or after concealing. The most popular place to contour is under the cheek bone to make your face look slimmer and defined.

Eyeshadow-A cosmetic cream or powder in one of various colors that is applied to the eyelids to accent the eyes. Eyeshadow comes in a million different forms, cream, powder, liquid,glitter,sparkle,smudge etc. You can apply eyeshadow before or after your face is done. Using a small makeup brush is the best way of applying the eyeshadow on your eyelids, but some people prefer just using a finger.

Mascara-A cosmetic substance for darkening, coloring, and thickening the eyelashes, applied with a brush or rod. There are many different types of mascara,ones that give volume,length,curling, etc. You can apply mascara at anytime.

Eyeliner-Makeup applied to emphasize the shape of the eyes, but can also be applied to achieve intensity and definition. It comes in the form of  a pen or pencil, most people wear Black eyeliner ,but there are many different colors.

Baking powder-Baking is also known as ‘cooking’, is a make-up technique used in to set your concealer and contoured spots,it can also work to give the illusion of definition. Baking gives you a matte finish.

Highlighter- Highlighter is an option only if you want a more sharp elegant look. Highlighter is usually applied on the top of the cheek bone and under the eyebrow bone.It comes in transparent colors.

Doing your makeup can sometimes be a challenge , but by using outlets like YouTube you can increase your makeup skills. There are millions of videos on makeup, for each specific thing you are trying to accomplish.
