With the new upcoming re-make of the horrifying movie, many are afraid that the clown epidemic that happened in 2016 will spark up again. Since IT is making so much propaganda for clowns, many stores have discontinued selling clowns until Halloween. On a lighter note, the new trailer excited horror fanatics and Stephen King’s fans, due to it being on a darker side of horror.
With the horrifying clown returning to Derry after 30 years, The Loser Club returns to finish what they had started when they were kids. In the new film the demonic clown comes back to terrorize the little town of Derry. As this new film is coming out, the horror industry is booming with reviews and buzz waiting for the new horror movies coming out this year.
With the new horror movies actually focusing on the horror perspective rather than other aspects of the movies, horror is making a comeback. If you are a horror fan you might find yourself spending quite sometime in the theaters this year.
Here are some reaction to the new remake,
Sophomore, Taylor Austin said, “I’m kinda of excited but also worried and terrified. I know my friends are going to drag me with them to watch the movies even though they know I’m terrified of clowns.”
Senior, Adrianna Solomon said, “I’m horrified at the thought of a remake happening because the first movie was terrifying! I’m definitely not looking forward to seeing these commercials pop up on the TV.”
Finally, Senior, Micheal Gonzalez said, ” I am looking forward to seeing the final product. The original was horrifying for the time it was produced and I’m curious to see the remake to see if it lives up to the terror that the modern day audience is looking for.”
