The Clippers are currently sharing the Staples center with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The idea of the move would create an attraction for mainstream events, but they also cannot leave until 2024 because they have a signed lease with the Staples Center.
These two team owners want the $2.6 billion football stadium to be right across the street from the Forum so they can host more events and try to bring the world of sports back to Inglewood CA.
I spoke with a couple friends on my basketball team, and they said it would be a good move because Inglewood is on the rise as this would add on to the masterpiece.
“It would be great! It would bring more attractions and tourists to the city. They’ll spend money to see the games, and that means more jobs,” said one junior on the basketball team.
