Earlier this week the very popular streetwear brand Supreme announced that they would be collaborating with the Nike once again this year. They are reviving a forgotten Nike sneaker model for those who have not been into sneakers for very long, the Nike Air Force SB 2. The shoe will come in four different color ways. Black, baby blue, orange, and the brightest non-neon yellow color I have ever seen on a sneaker. It comes with Supreme’s signature “WORLD FAMOUS” branding om the heel of all the shoes.
Earlier in the year Nike and Supreme had a very popular collaboration with the release of the “Suptempo.” Nike combined their famous basketball sneaker the Nike Air Uptempo with Supreme. The only difference was instead of putting “AIR” on the sides of their shoe, like the base model has, the collaboration sneakers spelled “SUPREME” looped around both sides of the sneaker.
Now, no disrespect to the Nike Air Force SB 2, or to its longtime fans, but that model is not as popular as the Air Uptempo. Besides the model or overall appearance of the new collaboration, it is still a Supreme product. Come Thursday morning when they release their new products for that week the Supreme x Nike Air Force SB 2 will undoubtedly sell out in all four available colors. If you really do want them and you come unlucky trying to check out on release day, you need not worry. I do not imagine the resell price being very high and should be easily purchasable on the aftermarket.
