How could you attack that woman?

How could you forget about that woman?

How could keep calling out of my name?

How could you keep playing me like I was a game?

How could you try to douse my flame?

And put me to shame

Just to switch up and use it for your fame

You act like I’m the one you hate when I’m really the one you crave

But we ain’t tripping because black girls have always been the wave

Our melanin is black gold that absorbs sun rays

We are not here for your prey

And that’s something you should’ve known from the start

Black girls are the purest form of art
